Meet Our Group Leaders

Addiction Recovery Groups are led by Certified Recovery Coaches who have been able to achieve and maintain their recovery. They have also received specialized training on how to help others and how to work with a video-based group. The meeting leader’s job is to facilitate your meeting in a way that allows you to comfortably interact with others. You are not forced to participate but you will find that talking about your issues and supporting others can be a powerful way to achieve wellness.

I am a very outgoing and social woman. I love meeting new people. I'm very caring, encouraging and friendly. I have a lust for all things great in this world, great food, great friends and great adventures. My own prior addiction history helps me approach hard-to-reach individuals from a unique perspective and they trust me knowing I have been there before myself. I offer hope to people who are just beginning their journey on their recovery path. My excellent communication abilities and compassion help reinforce recovery efforts. I am a Peer Support Specialist, certified in state of North Carolina. I have facilitated numerous of support groups from substance abuse, divorce, stigmas, depressions and life empowerment groups. With me as a CPSS you can expect a direct-speaking strong motivator who is aiming to be a terrific role model. I have a firm belief that people are put on this earth to learn from one another, and that if we open our eyes and believe in recovery, anything is possible.
