I am a peer support facilitator with over 15 years of experience working with groups and individuals who live with a variety of mental health challenges, such as addictions, depression, anxiety and combat PTSD. I
am certified by the United States of America Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs Administration as a peer support specialist and readjustment counselor. I earned my Associate degree in psychology with an emphasis on
Alcohol and Drug Counseling, my Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration on addictions. I am currently finalizing my master’s degree in health psychology
with a focus on Parasomnia in the active uniformed /military veteran population.
Professionally, I have in-depth experience of providing person-centered case management and treatment planning with-in the veteran and active duty military
personnel community, specifically those who present with behavioral issues. My training includes Wellness Recovery Action Planning, Suicide Intervention and PTSD
awareness. I am currently residing and working in the United Kingdom, where I provide psycho-social interventions as a multi-agency community link worker.
