  • Breastfeeding three part series - spanish speaking These class is perfect for spanish speaking mothers who are seeking to get ready breastfeeding their babies.
    This class is taught in Spanish Breastfeeding: a three-part series reviews the basics of breastfeeding, including how we make milk, how to get a comfortable latch, how to know if baby is getting enough and early common challenges and how to overcome them. Class 1: BREASTFEEDING BASICS - Covers health care recommendations for breastfeeding including the benefits for families, how we make milk, how to get off to a great start with a good, deep latch at breast and hand expression. Class 2: MAKING MILK - Reviews the Breastfeeding Basics, provides more practice for positioning and latching baby and addresses common early concerns like sore nipples, engorgement and how to know if your baby is getting enough milk. Class 3: SUPPORTING BREASTFEEDING- Addresses how to initiate a milk supply when challenges are unavoidable such as early latching challenges, NICU admission and/or returning to work. A review of hand expression and mechanical pumping is included.

    This class is for SPANISH speakers and is taught in Spanish to support parents who are expecting an infant in the next 2-3 months. Caring for Baby is a three part series of classes designed to help you understand basic newborn care, newborn behavior and how to prepare your home for bringing home baby. We will reviews how newborns look and behave right after birth, responsive feeding techniques, diapering, bathing and normal newborn elimination patterns, how to keep baby healthy and when to call the doctor.

    Caring for Baby is a three part series of classes designed to help you understand basic newborn care, newborn behavior and how to prepare your home for bringing home baby.


  • Caring for your newborn
    This class is a single class for parents who do not want to sign up for the entire series of caring for baby. we will reviews how newborns look and behave right after birth, responsive feeding techniques, diapering, bathing and normal newborn elimination patterns, how to keep baby healthy and when to call the doctor.


  • Childbirth Preparation: a three-part series
    Childbirth Preparation is a three part series which covers the third trimester, how our body prepares for childbirth, an over view of labor and vaginal birth, comfort measures including drug free options and hospital based interventions like epidurals and other medical interventions, such as inductions, fetal monitoring and c-sections.


  • Infant/Toddler CPR + First Aid
    WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS VIRTUAL CLASS: Our comprehensive, 2-hour class is based on the American Heart Association’s Family and Friends CPR Anytime program. Taught by a BLS-certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Topics Include: CPR response for an infant or child What to do if an infant or child is choking, including the Heimlich maneuver How to build a home first aid kit Tips for injury prevention Water and pool safety First aid response for cuts, burns, anaphylaxis, head injuries, bee stings and more


  • Nutrition in Pregnancy and Beyond
    We will discuss why eating healthy in pregnancy and after is important. We will define what really is healthy eating with a focus on whole food plant based nutrition. Things to avoid in pregnancy, you may be surprised! Dietary supplements will also be reviewed. It's more than just a prenatal vitamin. How to have the best foods in pregnancy even with limited resources. I will be able to clarify any questions you have about nutrition in pregnancy. Hope to see you in the next session!

Learn all of the ways to have a healthy pregnancy by learning important nutrition guidelines. We also discuss how to keep baby healthy with current evidence based nutrition recommendations.


  • Parenting Preemies: From NICU to Home
    Some mothers and babies may find themselves delivering early and baby may spend some time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or NICU. In this class we cover signs of preterm labor, common treatments in the NICU, how to participate in the care of your preemie baby and how to prepare to come home with your premature baby.


  • Pregnancy & Newborn Nutrition
    In this class we teach your "how to eat for two!" Learn all of the ways to have a healthy pregnancy by learning important nutrition guidelines. We also discuss how to keep baby healthy with current evidence based nutrition recommendations.


  • Preparation for Birth Series - Spanish speakers
    This class is taught in Spanish for Spanish speaking expecting parents Recommended at 27 weeks and up. Childbirth Preparation is a three part series which covers the third trimester, how our body prepares for childbirth, an over view of labor and vaginal birth, comfort measures including drug free options and hospital based interventions like epidurals and other medical interventions, such as inductions, fetal monitoring and C-sections.


  • Preparing for Birth
    This is class for mom and parents who do not want to take the full preparation for birth series but rather take this class on its on. This class is equivalent to preparation for birth series - class 1 - Reviews the third trimester, how labor begins, the four stages of labor, when to come to the hospital and vaginal birth


  • Timely Topics in Childbirth, Questions Answered
    a weekly question and answer meeting geared toward a particular topic of the day.. participants are encouraged to ask questions on pregnancy, childbirth and newborn related issues and on the topic presented in the session. Some of the topics covered are childbirth options, nutrition,18 month pregnancy, growth charts, common discomfort measures and tricks, Preparing for home hospital or birth center birth, Children and family, Fathers at birth, newborns, breastfeeding, ..... these topics are just some of the few that will be discussed during this
