  • Postpartum Psychosis Support for Moms
Postpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare.  It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1,000 deliveries. Those suffering from psychosis have lost touch with reality and may hear, see, or believe things that are not real.  After a PPP survivor's symptoms have been stabilized, peer support can be an important tool for recovery.  Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors.  This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).  Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago, you are welcome to attend our free, online peer-to-peer support group.  Our online groups are here to help you connect with other parents, talk about your experience, and learn about helpful tools and resources. We do not allow group observation by students or professionals. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Mindfulness for Moms
In this 60 minute offering, Emily will provide skills on how to mindfully navigate the various seasons of motherhood. She welcomes you to come exactly as you are and to leave judgement and hesitation "at the door". To be truly mindful is to create awareness around our emotions and the space to truly feel them. Each group will start off with authentic connection, facilitation (think breathwork, meditation, journaling, and/or distant energy work), and end with self reflection and sharing. Please feel free to set up your space to provide comfort and relaxation - having a comfortable place to sit or lay and a journal is encouraged. This monthly offering begins with asking the question "what does mindfulness mean to you?" and providing the space to discuss how we can bring that mindset into motherhood. We do not allow group observation by students or professionals. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
