Support Groups Central In the News

Support Groups Central announces a new service offering – Arise!
April 29, 2013
Contact:  Vincent F. Caimano, Ph.D.  818-292-8551,

Arise! will provide confidential, web-conference based, support groups to people in ministry – ministers, ministry staff and their loved ones. Arise! allows ministry people to gather in small groups to encourage and help each other to work through personal problems and issues. Support Groups Central is seeking service partners who wish to sponsor and / or operate Arise! groups.

"Ministry people often have tremendously challenging jobs and sometimes are in need of being ministered to. Arise! provides a private way for ministry people to share their burdens with peers who understand, can provide practical suggestions and reassurance." – Dr. Vince Caimano, Founder and CEO, Support Groups Central

Arise! is an outgrowth of Support Group Central's successful Depression Recovery Groups service. In addition to help for mental health issues Arise! provides assistance for family issues, ministry setbacks, leadership, financial issues, etc.

Discussing personal and leadership issues in a ministry person's organization or community can be very difficult. Arise! provides a private place for ministry people to connect with others who are experiencing similar issues.

Contact us today about how we can partner together to encourage and support ministry people. You can also sign up for updates about Arise! and when groups will be scheduled to meet. In the interim, you may want to try out our Faith-based meeting at Depression Recovery Groups for help with depression and anxiety issues.
